Our Specialist Services division, closely supported by our fabrication workshop, has produced many interesting solutions throughout the years.

A solution for training fire-fighting teams was developed from scratch by Myretex Ltd. for a number of airports in Ireland. The system has proven to be very successful and as an addition to the original systems a number of smaller fire-training aids were also commissioned.

We have a very good working relationship with Dublin Airport Authority, Shannon Airport Authority and Cork City Fire Brigade and continue to offer time-critical services to them.

Myretex Ltd. have worked on projects with a number of Cork electrical and research companies to produce electrical testing rigs to customer specification.

We have also successfully worked with UCC on a number of mechanical and marine testing projects.

We were contracted in 2014 by a leading Cork technology company to provide a solution to a significant operational issue.

We were tasked with halving the floorspace occupied by a specific department, while allowing for an increase in the amount of equipment required. Myretex Ltd. designed a suspended cradle system whereby floorspace was reduced by 55% while the level of available space for equipment rose by 20%.
